MORNING: MARRAKECH -> OUZOUD
We pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and drive northeast towards the Middle Atlas, through Berber country and olive-growing land. The drive takes roughly two and a half to three hours, arriving at the village above the falls before midday.
MIDDAY: OUZOUD WATERFALLS
From the top there are viewpoints over the full drop of the falls. A path leads down through olive groves and terraced cafés to the pools at the base — a steady descent, with the sound of the water building as you go. At the bottom, local boatmen offer short rides towards the foot of the cascades, close enough to feel the spray. Barbary macaques are often seen in the trees along the way.
AFTERNOON: LUNCH -> MARRAKECH
Lunch is at one of the restaurants overlooking the falls (not included), then time to finish the walk back up before the drive back to Marrakech, arriving in the evening.

A: The journey from Fes to the Merzouga desert covers roughly 500 kilometres, equivalent to approximately 310 miles.
